points based carry plan software system for one of the largest
and most well respected firms on Wall Street.

The software, written in webTML, will run through a browser and is
ideally suited for the Private Equity Industry.

It features a flexible waterfall calculator and points based
distribution module that can easily adapt to unique “Carry Plan”
requirements and subtleties without custom programming.

The rules and requirements under which these carry plans operate
can vary significantly in the private equity industry and even within
the same corporation.

ACT’s carry plan software modules include all functionality needed
to process security transactions, manage the books and records of
the various legal entities involved, calculate priority return on
investments, management fees, realized and notional losses.

The software also manages all distributions including the calculation
of ordinary income, capital gains, holdback amounts and “claw back”
amounts as determined by a carry plan’s economic terms.
